1.         The Quran reveals that all prophets are in Islam – each moving along this path of awakening (22:78). The only way as far as Allah is concerned is Islam.

2.         ‘Allah created humankind from one self and from it created its pair’ (7:189). The self is given the option of rising to its divine origin or being corrupted in the world. All humans therefore share a unique primal model.  

3.         The self is programmed to seek harmony, balance, good health, a tranquil mind and friendly companionship – these are the characteristics which inherently motivate us.
